Publication Frequency and Schedule

1. Publication Frequency

Bioedukasi is published three times a year, with regular issues scheduled for publication in May, August, and November.

2. Manuscript Submission

The journal accepts manuscript submissions throughout the year. Manuscripts that are accepted for publication are assigned to an appropriate forthcoming issue after completing peer review, the required revisions, final editorial evaluation, and the production process.

Submission is open year-round and is not restricted to specific issue submission periods.

3. Annual Publication Schedule and Article Capacity

Each regular issue normally contains 5–25 scholarly articles, depending on the number of manuscripts that successfully complete the editorial and peer-review process.

The number of articles published in an issue does not determine editorial decisions. All manuscripts are evaluated according to their scholarly quality, originality, relevance to the journal's scope, research integrity, and the outcomes of independent peer review.

4. Submission and Editorial Timeline

  • Manuscript Submission: Open throughout the year.

  • Initial Editorial Screening: Conducted after manuscript submission to assess the manuscript's suitability for the journal's scope and compliance with submission requirements.

  • Peer Review: Conducted in accordance with the journal's double-anonymous peerreview policy. Each manuscript is independently evaluated by qualified reviewers with relevant expertise.

  • Acceptance Notification: The editorial process may take approximately 1–2 months, depending on reviewer availability, manuscript complexity, revision requirements, and the number of review rounds.

  • Publication: Accepted manuscripts are assigned to an appropriate forthcoming issue after completion of the editorial and production processes.

The stated editorial timeframe is an estimate and not a guarantee. The duration of the evaluation process may vary depending on reviewer availability, the manuscript's subject area and complexity, the extent of revisions required, author response times, and any additional editorial or research-integrity checks.

Submission does not guarantee acceptance, and the journal does not guarantee acceptance or publication within a specific period. Final publication scheduling is determined by the editorial office in accordance with the journal's editorial procedures and publication schedule.
