Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

GENERAL INFORMATION

  1. Manuscripts must be original, have not been published previously in any scientific journal, that manuscripts are not being submitted for publication elsewhere, and will not be submitted to any media during the review process unless the authors have officially withdrawn the manuscripts from  JPF (Jurnal Pendidikan Fisika) FKIP UM Metro.   JPF (Jurnal Pendidikan Fisika) FKIP UM Metro  uses Similarity Check powered by Turnitin to prevent any suspected plagiarism in the manuscripts.
  2. Manuscripts submitted are research topics which have no conflict with bioethical research.
  3. The journal is published 2 (twice) times a year, i.e. March, and September.

 

MANUSCRIPT FILE

  1. Manuscripts are written in Bahasa and used standard scientific usage.
  2. Manuscripts should be prepared in Microsoft Word format, except for Graphs using Microsoft Excel program and Figures using JPEG or PDF format.
  3. Manuscripts should be typed using Times New Roman fonts at 12 points.
  4. The length of the manuscript is approximately 8 to 16 pages, written in A4 paper format, margins: top 4;  left  4 cm;  right  3 cm;  bottom 3 cm, two columns (except for abstract, figure, and table), justified,  single-spaced. Manuscript comprises five main headings: Pendahuluan (Introduction); Metode (Method)Hasil dan Pembahasan (Results and Discussion) ; Ucapan Terimakasih (Acknowledgment); Kesimpulan dan Saran (Conclusion and Suggestions); Daftar Pustaka (References).
  5. The title of the manuscript must be as brief as possible  and must represent the content of the manuscript.
  6. Authors’ names are written below the title, followed by authors’ affiliation and e-mail address.
  7. The abstract is written in two languages: Indonesian and English, as a representation of the manuscript. The abstract should not exceed 200 words for each language format, written narratively comprising aims/objectives, method, and findings of the research/article.
  8. Keywords: words or phrases which are important, specific, or representative to the article.
  9. American Psychological Association (APA) style is used as a reference in the citation, references, and writing format.
  10. The references of the article are   required minimum of 15 references primary with more than 80%  (> 80%) from reputable journal papers  with their  DOI  or  URLs. References not more than the last 10 years.  References are required to use the references manager as mendeley, zotero, etc
  11. The manuscript must be written following the  JPF (Jurnal Pendidikan Fisika) FKIP UM Metro template.
  12. The manuscript must be in *.doc and sent to the journal system via online submission by creating an account in this Open Journal System (OJS) [click REGISTER if you have not had any account yet; or click LOG IN if you have already had an account].
  13. All Author(s)' names and identity(es) must be completely embedded in the form filled in by the corresponding author: email; affiliation; and each author's short biography (in the column of 'Bio Statement'). [if the manuscript is written by two or more authors, please click  'Add Author' in the 3rd step of 'ENTER METADATA' in the submission process and then enter each author's data.]
  14. All correspondences, information, and decisions for the submitted manuscripts are conducted through email was written in the manuscript and/or the emails used for the submission. The status of the manuscript can be checked in the OJS by logging into the journal.
  15. Since 2021 the template has change (Download Template 2021). Before 2021 you can this template. Download template 2019 . While to download Tempalte 2015 you can download it at template 2015 .
