The Influence of Self Efficacy on Learning Outcomes in E-learning Activities with Learning Motivation as Moderator

Abstrak

Who conducted this research on students of the Faculty of Business Economics, Telkom University Class of 2017 to know how the influence of self-efficacy (X) on learning outcomes (Y) during the e-learning period with learning motivation (Z) as the moderator variable. In this study, the authors collected data using a questionnaire with a total sample of 285 respondents and used probability sampling with a simple random sampling method. The data analysis technique used is quantitative analysis with linear regression and multiple linear regression methods with moderating variables using the IBM SPSS Statistics program. The results showed that self-efficacy (X) partially affected learning outcomes (Y), and simultaneously learning motivation (Z) and self-efficacy (X) influenced learning outcomes (Z) during the e-learning period. We can conclude that self-efficacy (X) can improve learning outcomes (Y) during the e-learning period. Still, when coupled with high learning motivation (Z), it will increase the relationship of self-efficacy (X) to learning outcomes. (Y) so that it can further improve learning outcomes during the e-learning period for students of the 2017 Faculty of Business Economics, Telkom University.

Satya Fajar Gumelar, Telkom University

Satya Fajar Gumelar adalah penulis pada penelitian ini. Penulis lahir dari keluarga U. Herliana Lilihar dan Dewi sukwati sebagai anak ketiga dari tiga bersaudara. Penulis dilahirkan di Desa Pangandaran, Kecamatan Pangandaran, Kabupaten Ciamis, Jawa Barat pada tanggal 28 Maret 1999. Penulis mulai menempuh pendidikan dasar pada usia 7 tahun dimulai dari SD Negeri 5 Pangandaran (tahun lulus 2011), selanjutnya penulis melanjutkan pendidikan menengah pertama di SMP Negeri 1 Pangandaran (tahun lulus 2014) lalu melanjutkan pendidikan menengah atas di SMA Negeri 2 Ciamis (tahun lulus 2017) dan hingga akhirnya dapat melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi di Universitas Telkom (2017-sekarang) dengan menempuh masa kuliah di Fakultas Ekonomi Bisnis Jurusan Manajemen Bisnis Telekomunikasi Informatika.

Fetty Poerwita Sary, Telkom University

Fetty Poerwita Sary adalah pembimbing pada penelitian ini. Beliau merupakan dosen di Universitas Telkom sejak 2008. Beliau mengajar mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris, Metodologi Penelitian, dan Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia. Beliau juga telah menyelesaikan pendidikan Sarjana (S1) di Universitas Padjadjaran dengan program studi Bahasa Inggris. Selanjutnya Beliau melanjutkan pendidikan Pascasarjana (S2) di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia dengan program studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris. Dan yang terakhir, beliau telah menyelesaikan program Doktoral di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia dengan program studi Pendidikan Administrasi. Sebagai praktisi dalam dunia pendidikan, beliau juga aktif melakukan berbagai penelitian ilmiah.
