Penggunaan flow proof dalam pembelajaran geometri

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran aktivitas menggunakan flow proof dalam pembelajaran geometri berbasis bukti siswa kelas VII SMP. Flow Proof merupakan salah satu strategi yang dapat mempermudah siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika khususnya materi geometri berbasis pembuktian. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subyek penelitian ini adalah 39 siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 17 Palembang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan tes tertulis. Dari aktivitas pembelajaran yang telah diaplikasikan terdapat 3 aktivitas yang telah didesain menggunakan flow proof. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa serangkaian aktivitas yang dilakukan menggunakan flow proof dalam pembelajaran membantu siswa untuk membuktikan sifat-sifat jajargenjang ditinjau dari sisi, sudut dan diagonal. Kemudian Langkah-langkah yang ada pada flow proof mempermudah siswa agar dapat terbiasa untuk melakukan pembuktian.
