Abstract
This study aims to produce valid, practical, and effective basic study learning and improve students' mathematical representation abilities. This research produces a product in the form of basic mathematics learning tools consisting of lesson plans, teaching materials, and student learning outcomes tests. This type of research uses the Research and Development method which refers to the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The subjects in this study were students of the third semester Mathematics Education study program at PGRI Madiun University for the 2021/2022 academic year. Data collection techniques include interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysis techniques in this study include data analysis of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The results showed that the learning tools were declared valid with the results of the RPS validation being 82.85%; the results of the validation of teaching materials are 83.44%; and the results of the validation of student learning outcomes test questions of 83.33%. Learning devices have practical criteria with a percentage of student response questionnaire sheets of 81.94%. Learning tools have effective criteria with the percentage of completeness is 82.62%. The results of the N-Gain test obtained results of 0.73 in the high category. So that the basic mathematics learning tools have valid, practical, and effective criteria and can improve students' representational abilities.
