Self-acceptance is characterized by a positive attitude, recognition or appreciation of individual values including acknowledgment of their behavior and not blaming others and being trapped in their limitations. The purpose of this study is to describe the process of self-acceptance of children who have lost family members due to COVID-19 and to find out the factors that influence self-acceptance.. This study uses qualitative methods with a descriptive study approach. The study participants consisted of three adolescents with criteria 1) age 18-22 years and 2) loss of family members due to COVID-19. Data collection techniques in the form of semi-structured interviews. The results showed that the three informants had accepted the loss of their family members due to COVID-19. Self-awareness, empathy, support from the environment and religion come into play to help in self-acceptance after the loss of a family member due to COVID-19.Downloads
