PENGARUH PROBLEM BASED LEARNING TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS MATEMATIKA MATERI LINGKARAN

Abstract
Education today needs to develop critical thinking skills to face the era of both personal and vocational life. PBL is a learning model that focuses on strengthening problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and learning how to learn. This study aims to determine the significance of the effect of applying the PBL learning model on the critical thinking skills of sixth grade elementary school students on circle material. Approach used in this research is a quantitative approach of the type of Pre-Test and Post-Test research. using a learning outcomes test. The technique of data collection in this study used a critical thinking test. The participant used in this study was grade VI SDN Pacing while the sample used in this study amounted to 25 students. Data analysis using one sample t-test. Based on the calculation of hypothesis testing carried out using the t-test. The results of the normality test of the value of the result of 0.139 critical thinking >α (0.05) exceeds the significant value, then the value of the variable is normally distributed, followed by using a one-sample t-test, the results of equal variance assumed shows that Sig (2-tailed) < 𝛼, 0,000 < 0,05 so that H0 rejected. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of the application of PBL on the mathematical critical thinking skills of sixth grade elementary school students.
