Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze individual student problem solving in Linear Algebra using the joint action studies approach. This type of research is qualitative research. The subjects consisted of 19 students i.e. 9 male and 10 female. The research instrument used observation and interview sheets. Stages of joint action studies learning activities include: student orientation activities, learning activities and assessments. Learning activities consist of: class presentations, learning in teams, group scores and team achievement awards. The results showed that cooperative action joint learning studies showed students to really engage with each other in positive interactions to complete individual assignments. The success of students in constructing new strategies for solving an individual task is influenced by their ability to solve various types and types of problems.
