Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and social support with career decision-making among final year students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a research design. The analysis techniques used in this study are Pearson Product Moment correlation test and multiple correlation. The number of participants in this study was 516 final year students using non-probability sampling techniques. Data collection was conducted using three instruments, namely the General Self-Efficacy (GSE) scale, the social support scale modified from MPSS, and the career decision-making scale compiled based on aspects (Hopson and Hayes, 1978). The results of the study show that all three hypotheses are accepted, namely that self-efficacy has a positive relationship with career decision-making, and social support also has a positive relationship with career decision-making. In addition, self-efficacy and social support are proven to have a strong stimulant relationship with the career decision-making of final year students. This study confirms that a person's beliefs and support from their environment play an important role in helping final year students determine their career path and decisions after graduation.
