UJI VALIDITAS PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE STUDI KASUS PADA MATERI SISTEM PEREDARAN DARAH MANUSIA UNTUK MELATIH KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS PESERTA DIDIK

Abstract


This study aims to produce learning tools using case study methods on valid, practical and effective human circulatory system material so that they can be used in the learning process. The research method used is the type of development with the Research and Development (R&D) model which is carried out at SMP Negeri 2 Telaga Biru for class VIII students in the 2021/2022 academic year. The research instrument used was the RPP validation sheet, the learning implementation validation sheet and the critical thinking test validation sheet. Based on the results of the research that the product development of learning devices has met the requirements of validity, practicality and effectiveness. The results of the validity of learning tools by expert validators are in the range of 81%-100% score intervals with very valid criteria. The results of the analysis of the implementation of learning by teachers and student activities are in the range of 81%-100% score intervals with very valid criteria. Based on the results of the critical thinking test, it shows that the average critical thinking test in a limited trial in accordance with the critical thinking indicators providing simple explanations gets 75%, building basic skills gets 88%, giving further explanations gets 77%, managing techniques to develop explanations 78% and conclude 80%. Meanwhile, the results of the critical thinking test on a broad scale test according to the critical thinking indicators providing simple explanations obtained 88%, building basic skills obtained 75%, providing further explanations obtaining 80%, arranging techniques for developing explanations 72% and concluding 73. Student response data obtained obtained through the responses of students obtained an average score for the limited trial of 82% and the average value for the wide-scale test of 89%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the learning device using the case study method on the material of the human circulatory system to train students' critical thinking skills meets the validity, practicality and effectiveness so that it is feasible to be applied in the learning process.
