Phalaenopsis amabilis is the most popular type of orchid because this orchid has a unique shape so many people are interested in having it. However, the presence of orchids in nature, especially in the Galunggung Mountain area of Tasikmalaya is increasingly scarce so it is necessary to cultivate one of them through in vitro tissue culture. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving organic ingredients of banana extract combined with vacin and went on the growth of the embryonic phase of orchids. This research was conducted in September 2018 - July 2019 at the Tissue Culture Laboratory, Department of Biology Education, Siliwangi University. The research method used is true experimental with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) arrangement of 3 replications. With the treatment of five different concentrations namely (P1) 0gr / L, (P2) 10 gr / L, (P3) 20 gr / L, (P4) 30 gr / L and (P5) 40 gr / L. The parameter of this study is the time the embryo appears at each growth phase. The data analysis technique used is the one way ANOVA test with ? = 0.05 and the LSD advanced test. The results showed that the administration of banana extract organic material with five different concentrations had a significant effect, but at the concentration (P3) 20 gr / L was the best concentration which gave the most significant influence on the growth of orchid embryos in all embryonic phase growth times.
