UPAYA MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR BIOLOGI MENGGUNAKAN MODEL COOPERATIVE LEARNING TIPE STAD PADA SISWA KELAS VII MTs NEGERI 1 LAMPUNG TIMUR TAHUN PELAJARAN 2018/2019

Abstract


 Based on the results of the pre-survey conducted at MTs Negeri I East Lampung, the data obtained for the midterm even grade VII of the academic year 2018/2019 that out of 33 students only 11 students had finished learning or at 33.3%, this was due to students having difficulty completing questions because students do not participate in the learning process, and students are not diligent in doing exercises and assignments. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The object of this study is the activities and learning outcomes of Biology students. The subjects of this study were students of Class VII G Even Semester MTs Negeri I East Lampung Academic Year 2018/2019 totaling 33 people. The data collection method uses observation sheets and written tests at the end of the cycle.

From the analysis of the data, the following conclusions are obtained: (1) Learning by using the cooperative learning model STAD type in the subject of the Interaction of Living Creatures with the Environment can increase the interaction of learning activities between teachers and students of Class VII G Even Semester MTs Negeri I East Lampung Academic Year 2018/2019. This can be seen from the average number of students who have been actively increased by 33.3% from 58.57% in the first cycle to 84.76% in the second cycle, (2) Learning using the cooperative learning model type STAD in the subject of Interaction Living things with the Environment can improve learning outcomes of Biology Class VII Even Semester MTs Negeri 1 East Lampung, Academic Year 2018/2019. This can be seen from the average number of students who reached the Minimum Graduation Criteria in the first cycle 74.64 and the second cycle 80.21. This means an increase in average student learning outcomes by 5.57. And it can also be in terms of the percentage of students' mastery learning that has increased by 17.85% from 64.29% in the first cycle to 82.14% in the second cycle.
