KERAGAMAN JENIS ECHINODERMATA BERDASARKAN ZONA LITORAL DI PANTAI PASIR PUTIH UJONG BATEE KABUPATEN ACEH BESAR PROVINSI ACEH

Abstract
The abundance and biodiversity of marine life have an important role to marine ecosystems. Echinoderms have a role as an organic waste-eating animals that form the rest of the animals and plants. Echinodermata species biodiversity research by the littoral zone in the area of Ujong Pasir Putih beach Batee Kebupaten Aceh Besar, aims to determine the biodiversity and abundance of Echinodermata. This research is descriptive quantitative describe the relationship between the type of littoral on species biodiversity Echinodermata. Sampling was conducted at three points, namely station I station (rocky zones), the station II (sandy zone), and a third station (coral zone). The research activities conducted in November 2018 by using transect method quadrant. The measured parameters include physical parameters (temperature), chemical parameters (pH, salinity, DO), and biological parameters (biodiversity and abundance Echinodermata). The result of the three-point stations found 11 species with four classes of Echinodermata Asteroidea, Holothuroidea, Echinoidea, and Ophiuroidea the biodiversity index is low, namely 1,244, uniformity index (E) is not stable at 0. 518, while the dominance index was also low at 0481 , Based on these results the biodiversity index (H`) is low due to the uniformity index (E) is unstable and influenced by environmental conditions.
