Focus and Scope

Bioedukasi is a journal that aims to publish articles dedicated to the development of biology and biology education, the Bioeducation journal accepts and publishes articles in the form of research (scientific articles) in, literature studies, ideas, application of theory, critical analysis studies, and studies towards Islamization Science education in the field of Special Biology that is emphasized is as follows:

1. Biology curriculum,

2. Biology learning and evaluation media

3. Biology Learning Research

4. Classroom Action Research (CAR) and Biology Lesson Study.

5. Other Qualitative Research in Biology Education.

6. School management and biology/science laboratory management.

7. Issues/Trends of the Teaching Profession in Biology Education.

Peer Review Process

Submitted papers are evaluated by anonymous referees by double blind peer review for contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation. The Editor shall inform you of the results of the review as soon as possible, hopefully between 1 - 2 months. Please notice that may be paper submissions to bioedukasi Journal the duration of the review process can be up to 3 months.

Publication Frequency

Journal is  published tri times a year, the period from Desember to May, june to august, and september toNovember, published by Unit publication FKIP Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro.

Journal History

Bioedukasi is an open access journal containing scientific articles in the form of research, literature studies, ideas, application of theory, critical analysis studies, and studies of the Islamization of science education in the field of Biology.

Bioedukasi was published in 2010 following May starting with OJS (Operation Journal System) in May 2015. The Bioedukasi was published twice a year, namely the period January to May and June-November, which was published by Biology Education FKIP Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro.

Bioedukasi was pioneered by Dr. Muhfahroyin, M.T.A. now under the leadership of Agil Lepiyanto, M.Pd. assisted by Rasuane Noor, M.Sc. as managing editor. published twice a year, namely the period January to May and June-November, where every year there are 2 volumes from the beginning of volume 1 number 1 so that now it reaches volume 10 no 2. Furthermore in 2017 until now the Bioeducation Journal has been indexed by DOAJ.
